In early April I received a phone call from Crate & Barrel about participating in a private wedding registry event at their local West Hartford Store. They had been searching for a Connecticut wedding Planner and I was over the moon for the opportunity. I immediately setup a call to learn more and was instantly in love with the concept.
Crate & Barrel is a brand everyone knows (and loves), especially when it comes to doing a wedding registry. They created this private wedding registry event where couples to be could meet with local vendors to help them find their wedding day dream team!
With pure excitement I started to reach out to some of Connecticut’s finest industry vendors to take part in this amazing opportunity. I wanted to create something fun for our couples and discussed the importance of the fun factor with each vendor before having everyone on board.
Elan Artists played smooth music which enhanced a relaxing Sunday morning shopping experience.
KissandMakeupCT blew their interactive lip, lash, and boho braid booth out of the water! Who doesn’t want to get pampered for free?! Am I right? Hopefully you saw a glimpse of this amazing setup during their live posts on their social media channels.
Karri Lee Designs really knows how to create a table! She filled her table with gorgeous one of a kind designs while still utilizing Crate & Barrell’s amazing product offerings. Karri Lee also created the menu cards for our styled table and signage for our vendors.
DA Couture is my favorite custom jewel designer for our client’s weddings! One of a kind pieces is something every bride wants. Danielle the owner provided brides the chance to try on some of her unique pieces and learn more about what she could create for them. You might be familiar with her, you can find her incredible work featured over at Kleinfield’s!
Jakkelyn Iris took my heart with the amazing flower design! The centerpiece she created for our styled table were perfection! She also the engaged couples with centerpiece inspiration for the big day.
Rowanberry Lavender was there to capture it all. The images as you will see are so gorgeous! Rachel was a bucket list vendor to work with and I cannot wait to collaborate on a wedding together.
But, I have to say Forks & Finger’s was the MVP of this event with their food. I found couples going back for seconds and thirds! Between the way they display their food and the taste, it’s a match made in foodie heaven!
I absolutely loved that I was able to use items from the store to create a wonderful styled table to showcase our work as guests arrived to the event. I wanted moody blues and mixed metals to represent the change of season and that autumnal feeling. It also gave us the opportunity to show the engaged couples how a darker color scheme could be used and not just traditional blush and pinks.
This event was a great success with so many couples coming out to join us. It was a pleasure to work with Crate and Barrel and Shannon Gail of Shannon Gail Weddings. I am so looking forward to working with them in the future!
